This three-hour (4 km), moderately challenging bushwalk through diverse sandstone vegetation communities descends through beautiful rainforest to the delightful Gibberagong Waterhole.
This walk focusses on examining the relationship between the vegetation, geology and soils of the area, as well as the fire history and fire ecology of the local flora and fauna. We visit the Gibberagong waterholes and nearby rainforest gully and spot several threatened plant species along the way.
