We began the month with a special opportunity to visit a local stone cottage in Glenorie, built by a local family. Set against a stunning backdrop of gardens and bushland, we enjoyed a delightful morning tea with the owners while hearing their fascinating story.
Our monthly meeting included our Annual General Meeting (AGM), where we welcomed the new committee members for 2025. We also took a moment to express our gratitude to the retiring members and a special thank you to Julie, our Secretary, for her many years of dedicated service to our club committee. Following the formalities we were challenged to some brain teasing trivia questions where everyone was a prize winner.
We rounded off the month with a lovely lunch at The Heritage House in Kenthurst, enjoying good food and great company.
Round Corner Dural Probus Club offer a range of activities each month and a trip away is on the calendar for later this year.
Meetings are held at the Galston Club on the second Monday of each month at 9.30 am.
