A CLOSE CALL!
Saturday 30th April saw the commencement of the Mixed Pairs Round Robin Competition at Dural Country Club Bowls, held over 4 rounds with the Final being contested on May 28th between Lyn Luxford and Glen Davey up against Ann Wilson and Reg Munusamy. It was a tightly fought tussle with only a point or two the difference throughout the game. Nearing the conclusion, with the score standing at 13 all, Lyn and Glen held on to take a nail biting final score to 17-13.
THE CARNIVAL IS OVER!
On Friday 27th May Dural Country Club Bowls held their annual Living Choice Retirement Villages 2 bowl Triples Carnival. After all the bad weather experienced of late, it was exhilarating to be able to play in perfect conditions, 26 degrees and not a cloud in sight! Twenty two teams participated from around Sydney, and as far away as Mannering Point.
After the games, a delicious meal was enjoyed at Lusso Kitchen. Thanks must go to Living Choice for their Sponsorship and to Craig’s Butchery at Galston for supplying the meat trays for the raffle.
