Pennant Competition
This competition concluded on Saturday 3rd May with a victory against Wentworthville Bowling Club. This win enabled Dural Bowling club to finish 3rd on the competition ladder.
Lawn Bowls Carnival
On Monday 12th May 2025, Dural Bowling Club held their annual Hills Club’s Living Choice Retirement Villages. This was Dural’s first carnival of the year. The day started under a blanket of fog, but the cloud cover quickly went away, and the day turned into perfect condition for bowling. There were 30 teams of men, women, and mixed competing.
The teams came from Dural, Pennant Hills, West Pennant Hills, The Hills club, Beecroft, North Epping, Castle Hill, Burwood Diggers, St Marys Diggers, Asquith, Pittwater, Wentworthville and Merrylands. The games consisted of 2 games of 12 ends of 3 bowl triples and they were played in a very friendly manner. Carlie Gowenlock, from Living choice (Major Sponsor) presented the prizes to the winning teams after lunch in the LUSSO restaurant at the Dural Club.
We must thank Living Choice for sponsoring these carnivals as without sponsorship carnivals wouldn’t happen and The Dural Club for donating the bottles of wine for the raffle.
