Dural Bowling Club Christmas lunch and the award presentation took place on Saturday December 14th 2024.
Most players attended the day and had a wonderful time.
The day started with a game of scroungers whereby players are divided up into groups of 4 to a rink. Each rink players plays an individual game against the others.
Each player has 3 bowls and the closest bowls scores 3 points, second 2 points and third 1 point. It was a fun and entertaining morning with the game starting at 9.30am.
After the completion of the game of scroungers the players joined the other bowlers that had elected to skip the morning games for lunch in the dining room. The winner was Mike Keane and the runner up Phil Laing.
The last bowl day for 2024 was on Saturday 21st December and resumed on Saturday 4th January 2025. The Open Gender Drawn Triples is currently in progress and started on January 11th January 2025.
