Ann Wilson and Greg Smith are the respective women’s and men’s minor singles champions at the Dural Bowling Club, Ann Wilson defeated Kate Liu while Greg Smith beat Mike Keane in the recent finals.
The club congratulates the winners and wish the runners-up to go one better next year. Meanwhile, the Open Gender Pairs competition began on August 16.
The Dural Bowling Club last month welcomed new and returning committee members. The DBC will be celebrating its 60th anniversary in August 2026.
A club official said it is a great milestone considering the many challenges that they have faced through the years, pointing out that it is a tribute to the previous members who worked relentlessly to ensure its survival.
