Dural Bowling Club’s First Club Final of 2026

Dural Bowling Club held its inaugural club final of the new year under overcast and showery conditions. The final featured a thrilling matchup between two teams: Pat Bugden, Mark Tremain, and Kishore Rampersad faced off against Glen Davey, Brian Stevens, and Henri Chan. In a closely contested game, the team of Bugden, Tremain, and Rampersad emerged victorious, showing great promise for the upcoming season.

As preparations ramp up for the 2026 Open Pennants season, which began the same day, the Dural team was granted a bye for the opening match. In anticipation, coaching and skills development sessions have been held on Friday afternoons, attracting numerous aspiring bowlers eager to refine their techniques ahead of inter-club competitions.

A notable aspect of the Dural Bowling Club’s initiatives includes a Pennant Trial match conducted against Rosehill Bowling Club on February 7. This friendly competition proved successful, leading the Pennant Managers from both clubs to agree to make this event an annual fixture, with hopes that it will benefit both teams moving forward.
