The Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook has enjoyed a range of events over the past month.
While all the regular activities continue with strong support to offer fun and fitness to members, we have also enjoyed a great walk from Manly to Shelley Beach and back followed by lunch at the New Brighton Hotel, a fabulous meal at The Yook Korean BBQ Restaurant, a scenic social drive to Patonga in perfect weather, fabulous performances at the Premier’s Gala Concert, a demonstration at Nesci Bonsai Nursery and a wonderful Happy Hour.
The March meeting saw the election of a new committee for the coming year followed by a thought-provoking and extremely helpful presentation by Charles Fellner on Scam Awareness. Our Changeover lunch at the Dural Club provided the opportunity to formally thank the outgoing office bearers and welcome new President Jenni Cope and her committee.
Upcoming events include ‘Glorious’ by the Castle Hill Players, ‘Annie’ at the Capitol Theatre, a visit to Badgerys Creek Airport and a Race Day at Hawkesbury.
