Over the past month the members of the Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook have enjoyed many varied activities. The Premier’s Gala Concert provided excellent entertainment and was followed by lunch in the city. Outstanding weather and more tasty offerings greeted those on the social drive to the Boathouse Hotel at Patonga.
A more perfect setting would be hard to find on a Summer’s day. Ten Pin Bowling provided the opportunity to work off some of the delicious meals though dining out at Tung Tong Roong Thai Restaurant and a fabulous spread at our own happy hour possibly cancelled out the benefits!
The February meeting had us singing along, tapping our toes and sharing the all round fun of guest performer Roland Storm who regaled us with songs and stories from his career through the Rock n’ Roll era. Our interest groups are in full swing catering to those who enjoy golf, bowls, craft, theatre parties, movies, gardens, card and other games and book discussion.
If you are an able bodied, semi-retired or retired couple and have promised yourselves to get out, meet new people and have new experiences the Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook could be for you.
