The Wintry weather proved no deterrent for the Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook!
A delicious Lebanese dinner warmed a chilly evening and a most convivial happy hour. Members enjoyed a pleasant drive from Annangrove to Ebenezer on picturesque roads less travelled.
A wonderful walk from Leichardt to Summer Hill combining bus, train and light rail culminated in a great lunch. A visit to the State Library was enlightening as interesting exhibitions are regularly rotated and of international importance.
A June highlight was welcoming three new members to the club to share the fun. In July regular monthly pastimes will be supplemented with tennis, an outing to Camden for Christmas in July, a garden-lovers day to the Chinese Gardens at Darling Harbour and a theatre outing to Chicago providing something for everyone. In August members will celebrate the club’s 25th Birthday.
If you are able bodied, semi-retired or a retired couple and have promised yourselves to get out, meet new people and have new experiences the Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook could be for you.
