Last month brought varied activities for members of the Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook. Our October Meeting welcomed Guest Speaker, Annette Madjarian who discussed her life journey and in particular her time as a journalist.
Garden lovers enjoyed a beautiful experience at Boongala Gardens at Kenthurst with owner Mal sharing lovely rainforest walks and exquisite orchids. We also took two train journeys to opposite ends of Sydney: one to Como for a great walk along the Georges River, and the other heading north to Gosford for lunch.
Culture vultures were spoilt with outings to ‘Miss Saigon’, the ‘Good Old Days’ concert at the Town Hall and ‘Wicked’ as well as movies and plays at Castle Hill.

Upcoming events include a picturesque walk around Kirribilli admiring the jacarandas and Whiteley Garden, a Melbourne Cup function, social drive to the Wyong Milk Factory, tour of the refurbished Sydney Opera House, Happy Hour and Dining Out at Lusso Tapas at Rouse Hill. Plenty to keep all busy!
