With a large proportion of the Club Executive away on holiday, Kenthurst Probus Club dispensed with a formal meeting in May. Instead, Club Members still in Sydney (together with four visitors) gathered at Ray Nesci’s Bonsai Nursery in Kenthurst on the 19th of May for an educational and informative talk by Ray’s son Clinton on the technique of creating, caring for and shaping a Bonsai Plant.
After his address, members went on to have a pleasant lunch at The Grove Café at Mother Earth Nursery on Annangrove Road, Kenthurst.
Probus will meet more formally in its usual venue, the Kenthurst Uniting Church, at 9.30 AM on Monday 16th June when the Club will have an address from Graham Simms on the topic:” ETERNITY”.
Sydneysiders who were around in the 50’s and 60’s will probably be able to guess the Character who was the instigator of the phenomenon that Graham will speak about. As always, guests are welcome at Probus.
