The 2023 Archibald Prize exhibition is currently in Windsor, from March 15th to April 28th. If you missed the exhibition in town, this is a chance to see 57 remarkable portraits and to hear from three of the artists.
Catherine McGuiness, local artist from Cherrybrook was a finalist in the Archibald with her portrait of Sydney chef Kylie Kwong. Catherine and Thom Roberts are artists who attend Studio A in St Leonards, an art studio for people with intellectual disability. Julia Gutman is the 2023 Archibald winner.
On April 21st these three artists will speak at the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery at Windsor, moderated by gallery curator Diana Robson. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to hear directly from Archibald Prize artists speaking about their artworks. Light refreshments will be provided.
