Arcadian Artists Exhibition Offers Free Entry this November
The Arcadian Artists Exhibition and Art Trail 2026 offers a chance to ask them in person. On the weekend of 7 and 8 November, five rural studios across Dural, Galston and Arcadia will open their doors, and more than 35 artists will be waiting inside.

Follow the arrows along the back roads and you’ll find glass artists, jewellers, painters, sculptors, wood turners, felt artists, printmakers and textile artists, each working in their own way. Some studios are quiet and considered. Others are busy and full of colour. Because no two are alike, it’s worth making the effort to see all five.

The real draw is the conversation. You can stand beside the person who made the piece, ask how it came together and hear what it took. Thousands of works will be on show, and plenty will be for sale, so a Christmas gift for someone special might be waiting among them.

The trail began about 40 years ago, when a small group of local artists decided to open up their workspaces. It has grown into an annual fixture of the district, and the enthusiasm that started it is still the thing visitors notice first.

The trail runs from 9am to 5pm on both days, and entry is free. Maps and details are at www.arcadianartists.net.au, and printed brochures will be at every studio and many local cafes. The event is supported by Bendigo Bank.
