Each year, ANZAC Day is observed to honour the courage and sacrifice of the men and women who have served Australia, including those who gave their lives in the Great War. It is a day when the community comes together to pause, reflect and remember. Whether attending a local service, a dawn ceremony, or simply pausing for a quiet moment, ANZAC Day is an opportunity to remember all who have served and keep their stories alive.
This ANZAC Day, more than 600 commemorative events are scheduled to take place across New South Wales. Local RSL subbranches throughout the Hills to Hawkesbury districts will also hold services, providing the community with the chance to come together and pay their respects.
