I was recently reading an article in one of the daily papers with the heading “All that Glitters is not Gold” which I found out was a quote from William Shakespeare in the Merchant of Venice.
The article was celebrating our Paris Olympic team and its Gold Medal achievements, but it also recognized the achievement of picking up a silver or bronze medal and a personal best performance.

Whilst winning isn’t everything, it is the time and dedication that goes into being successful and brings out the best in people, whether training for a personal best in sport, business or life!
Your own pot of gold may not be an Olympic medal but it is something that you dream to achieve.
