Good Different ….
We all know this very familiar phrase and I admit I find myself thinking that I could perhaps try this too as I wrestle with a quilt that just – “won’t allow itself to get finished”- yes, IT DOES HAPPEN …
A different approach is required. Having made several quilts during Covid lockdown I no longer have my wide selection of fabrics, so to add that sharp edgy colour (which my quilt may need) is the challenge!
One of our members did have all the right fabrics and the joy within to create this happy child’s quilt (wish I was young again, I could sleep under those happy colours with great delight)!
One of the quilting group’s challenges is finally over —
OUR Freedom Day has arrived.
On Wednesday the Arcadian Quilting group has the opportunity to finally get together again!
We’ll be … IN THE PARK … a familiar venue for us but a very welcome achievement after soooo long.
We are choosing a park at Galston this time with undercover tables /seating etc … we bring everything we need and it will be the best meeting and shared morning tea one could imagine!
As you can see from the above photo … WE MADE IT!!!!!
Very little sewing happened but we sure did ‘catch-up’ with each other’s news 🙂
Try something new with your friends and/or family, perhaps make your “new – normal” GOOD DIFFERENT… too!
