The next round of the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership Program will be open for applications on 28 January 2025, offering $450,000 in local grants for projects within the Castle Hill Electorate.
This program invests in local infrastructure projects that deliver positive social, environmental, and recreational outcomes while fostering community participation, inclusion, and cohesion.
Since its inception in 2009, the program has awarded more than $464 million to more than 20,900 projects across New South Wales.
Incorporated not-for-profit community organisations and local councils are eligible to apply for grants ranging from $10,000 to $100,000. Grants must be used for building, refurbishing, or repairing community infrastructure, or for purchasing freestanding equipment or vehicles.
Program Guidelines are available at www.nsw.gov.au/cbp, and applications will be accepted online from Tuesday 28 January 2025 and will close at 5:00 pm AEDT, Friday 21 February 2025. Successful organisations will be announced in August 2025.
Mr Mark Hodges MP, Member for Castle Hill said:
“This is a long-running program for a reason – the grants make an important and lasting impact in our local communities.
“Local people understand what their communities need when it comes to local infrastructure, and the NSW Government Community Building Partnership program is a way to help meet those needs. I encourage eligible organisations to start identifying projects in need of attention within the Castle Hill Electorate as we approach the application opening date.”
